Youth Council of Compton-Stanstead and Greater Sherbrooke : Suscribe!

On behalf of the Hon. Marie-Claude Bibeau, Member of Parliament for Compton-Stanstead and Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, and in collaboration with Élisabeth Brière, Member of Parliament for Sherbrooke, we would like to invite the youth of our region to apply for the 2020-2021 Compton—Stanstead and Greater Sherbrooke Youth Council.

The Youth Council will be made up of young people from a variety of different schools, municipalities and communities to fully reflect the diversity of the Eastern Townships. Members will meet four times a year with my staff, stakeholders and ourselves to discuss issues that matter to them and share their ideas with us

This initiative gives participants a chance to make their voices heard, contribute to a discussion on current federal issues, and play an active role in shaping their community. We will work together to create a community project that will have a positive impact on our region.

The youth who are chosen will have a rewarding experience and gain valuable leadership skills.

Who can apply? Young Townshippers between the ages of 16 and 24

Deadline: November 15th 2020

Since you contribute greatly to our community and to the participation of youths within the community, I urge you to share this information with the dynamic young people in your network.

Feel free to contact our team if you have any questions.
