On July 26, Prime Minister Trudeau named me Minister of National Revenue. He explained to me that he needed a strong manager to run the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). I have a lot to learn about this huge machine that employs 60,000 people, administers tax returns and redistributes wealth through important programs and benefits, but I am a fast learner!
