The FAO assembly that I have the honor of chairing lasts a whole week. 190 countries united to fight against food insecurity in the world. It is also an opportunity to strengthen our ties with our trading partners, including Australia and the Philippines today.

 

Congratulations to Dr. Qu Dongyu who has been reelected for a 2nd mandate as Director General of the FAO.
